An Indoor Range for Rimfire Rifle and Pistol Caliber Shooting
Welcome
The Centralia Rifle Club and Junior Division range, chartered shortly after World War I, is located at 908 Johnson Road, in historic Borst Park, Centralia. On the north side of our range, we have a 50-foot .22lr only range with 12 firing points, used exclusively by the local high school rifle teams that we host. On the south side, we have another 12 firing points at 50-feet, which can accommodate .22 rimfire rifle and most standard pistol calibers up through .45; these limitations are imposed by the backstops.
We offer Washington State Hunter Safety Classes; we host the rifle teams for the local high schools and .22 caliber gallery rifle shooting.
We also offer NRA Range Safety Officer courses, Home Defense courses and a .22 bullseye pistol league. We hope to offer other activities soon.
Adult memberships are offered to U.S. citizens or legal residents of good moral character, subject to a background check and interview by the Board of Directors. Our range is open to members 24/7, subject to scheduled events (click on “calendar”), for private practice sessions, without having to make reservations. Our dues are $140.00 per calendar year.
We also require all of our members to also be members of the National Rifle Association. If you are not a member of the National Rifle Association, you can become a member at the same time you join our club. If you are interested in any way in preserving the right of responsible citizens to own and use firearms, you need to be a member of the NRA.
To apply for membership, download all the forms on the Membership Info Page, then bring them in person to a meeting of our Board of Directors, which are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the range. Prospective members please show up at 6:30pm for the meeting.
If you have any questions concerning membership or its benefits, feel free to call me.
